Performance Summer Tire Options

Don't know which Performance Summer tires will be offered on the Golf R for 2019 but what I do know are certain models of tires that either could come with standard it from factory or be optional.

Looking for feedback on these tires for anyone knowledgeable, here they are:
  • Continental ContisportContact 5P
  • Michelin Pilot Sport 4S
  • Pirelli P Zero (PZ4)

Not sure about the other two, but I have heard that the Continental ContisportContact 5P aren't really great for those who do any hard cornering, braking, track time or autocross. The tires will wear out too fast in those cases, but they're fine for daily drivers who aren't really spirited drivers.

I jumped on Michelin 4s after using Continental for a long time. What can I say... Great grip, absolutely zero noise and you can feel how the car gets more responsive on the turns. The only thing is it's pretty expensive (at least for me), but anyway I don't regret this purchase and hope it's going to last for a long time.

I had my share of Continental tires and never been a fan of them. When new they're great but as the miles pile on, issues start to show through!

Mind sharing what model of tire and what car?
I had a 3-Series with them and had nothing but a great experience with them. Only downside was a side wall puncture but that has nothing to do with the tires build quality.

Can't recall the model of tire as I only read them on invoice papers and their price. Its also from the experience from tech's and other owners with positive experience.
