What the 2019 Golf Could Look Like...

This being a 2019 model that we're talking about in late 2017, we will be waiting a long time before seeing anything come to light, but while we wait their's a lot of speculation to go through.

Out of all the renderings I have seen so far, the one below has the best looking front end to me. Use this thread to post renderings you find that you believe could reflect the production model. Some insight into your thinking behind it will help!

Not a big fan of the left and right air intakes connecting via a center grills. Also, everything is too narrow for my liking, though I can see them take some inspiration from the 2018 model's headlights. Just not done very well here.

One more rendering that I found. If VW is going to make their new Golf similar to this picture... I won't consider Golf as a potential car to buy ever again.

That just looks like VW is going back in styling, mainly the small strip grille connecting the headlights. If that was the case I'd prefer the first rendering.

Honestly, I would prefer anything but this odd design. How about this one?

After seeing the Arteon i started thinking that just maybe we will see some of its design reflected in the new Jetta because right now its doing a lot of good for VW's image as a sedan maker.

Trickling down some of the Arteon's design will do the Jetta a lot of justice.

As for me, the new Arteon's design is a big breakthrough for VW. I mean their designs are not bad, but this one is reeeally good. If they will take Arteon as the new generation's role model it will be amazing.

I agree and already we're seeing some of its bold design in other new models, the VW Atlas is one of them, although the Atlas came before the Arteon. Still, its a step forward in the brands design language, but hopefully not reserved for just VW flagship products.

The new Arteon's design language puts it on par with the German brands with how high end it looks. The front alone is good enough to warrant a double take and then you have those aggressive side lines and beefy looking haunches. VW outdid themselves there and I hope it continues.

I can't see a brand doing only one "high-end" looking car and leave other models from the product line behind in terms of interior. In my opinion, VW should alter their design language for all models with the launching of Arteon.
