congrats on getting your first VW, which Golf trim did you get and what did you end up paying out the door for it?
let us know how the break in process goes for you, sometimes we're in for surprises and other times fortunately not!

Welcome to the forum and to the brand steve. What car are you currently driving that you plan on replacing? What spurred the transition towards Volkswagen?

Talking with many people I know who owned Japanese or Domestic cars in the past and only shopped with them, that are now looking towards VW, and in some cases Audi... I realized in VW's case it has to do with the increased luxurious appeal.

Glad to have a new member on board, welcome! With the warranty coverage and pricing we've seen on the new Jetta, odds are the Golf will get the same treatment, making a great package even better.

I have a feeling that even with all the Golf has going for it, facing competition from Honda and similar brands will get harder. Already i'm seeing it play out with more interested consumers in the Type R than anything else.
